A 5-time Pro Bowler, 2011 Pro Bowl MVO and an All Pro selection with 413 catches, 5,033 receiving yards, and an average of 12.2 yards per reception, Brandon’s talents we apparent from a young age. Marshall played football at Lake Howell High School in Florida. He also lettered in basketball and track, winning the class 3A State triple jump championship. He was a scholar athlete at The University of Central Florida, and was selected to the All-C-USA Team. In 2006, Brandon was drafted to the Denver Broncos in the 4th round. The pick paid off for Denver who unknowingly drafted one of the most talented receivers in the game. In December on 2009, Brandon set the all time NFL record for receptions in a single game with 21 catches. He is also one of five players in NFL history to catch over 100 passes in three consecutive seasons. In 2010, Brandon was traded to the Miami Dolphins, where he agreed to a four-year, $47.5 million extension. In 2012, Brandon was traded to the Chicago Bears and there he would catapult from stardom, into super stardom.
More inspiring than Brandon’s football talent are his accomplishments outside of the NFL. Brandon was recently diagnosed with Borderline Personality disorder and decided that he would make it his personal mission and primary focus in life, to raise awareness and help others who are struggling with BPD. Brandon has been able to use his NFL platform to help thousands of people cope. Brandon, who had struggled, undiagnosed, knows just how important it was for him when he was finally diagnosed and able to face this challenge head on. He wants others to feel that same control and relief that he felt so he started “Project Borderline” to raise awareness and bring attention to BPD. Brandon is well know both locally and nationally for his work in the community and philanthropic efforts. Brandon is immensely passionate about helping others, and he his dedicated to his journey to provide encouragement and motivation, guidance and opportunities that individuals in need would otherwise be without.
Brandon's off the field activities do not stop with his community service. In the off-season Brandon spends much of his time in Los Angeles, taking in all the city has to offer.
